Follow these simple steps below to see how much money you've spent on League of Legends—it shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

1. Head to the official League of Legends support page, linked here
2. Click the "Log In" button
3. Enter your Riot Games account username and password - this is not your Summoner Name
4. Press the red "Show Me The Money" button

Once you press the Show Me The Money icon, you'll immediately see how much money you've spent in League of Legends across your entire career. This includes purchases like Event Passes, Ward Skins, Emotes, Icons, and more.

This site occasionally goes down for maintenance, especially when Riot Games implements new patch notes onto live servers. If this page isn't working, try again later.

It's important for players to note that the value shown only applies to their current region and may not reflect spending across a different Riot server. If they have multiple League of Legends accounts, they can just repeat the steps above.

Money Spent on League: Support Ticket Method

As mentioned, the above page may sometimes be down or inactive. However, there is another bonus workaround method you can try if you're desperate to see how much money you've spent on League of Legends.

1. Open up a Support Ticket via the Riot Games Support Page, and pick League of Legends
2. In the "Choose a Request Type" box, select "Account Management, Data Requests, or Deletions"
3. From here, scroll down and go for "Formal Personal Data Request"
4. In the second "Select Your Inquiry" box, choose "I want to know how much money I've spent with Riot Games"
5. A new box should pop up with the red "Show me the money." Press it, and lo and behold, it will show the total money you've spent. Smile or cry; the choice is yours!

Please note that, like the previous method, this method only shows purchases made in one specific region and may not reflect money spent across all servers. For example, if you were originally an EUW player and you've switched to NA1, it will only show purchases from your current region.

How To Get Free LoL Skins

If you want to give your wallet a break from spending money on League of Legends, there are several free ways of getting in-game skins. The main difference is that you will have virtually no control over which skins you receive. If you're willing to take that chance, keep reading!

Blue Essence

Blue Essence (BE) is one way to get free skins or LoL cosmetics. This basic currency is obtained by leveling up your account, opening Champion Capsules, or disenchanting Champion Shards. Over time, you should accrue a large amount of BE.

At least once a year, the Blue Essence Emporium opens, allowing you to spend this free currency on cosmetics and other in-game goodies. For example, the Warwick "Urfwick" Epic skin can only be purchased through the Blue Essence Emporium for 150K BE.

Hextech Chests

While playing League of Legends in any game mode like ARAM, you may also earn Hextech Chests and Hextech Keys, especially when you score S- or above while playing different champions. Key Fragments can be gained through the Honor system, so be nice to your teammates! You need three Key Fragments to create one Hextech Key.

Every time you open a chest, you have a slight chance of getting a skin fragment, which can be unlocked using Orange Essence. If you have three skin fragments you don't like, pray to the RNG gods and re-roll them into one permanent one for free!

Twitch Prime

Although this method isn't exactly free, you could previously connect your League of Legends account to your Twitch, provided you have a Twitch Prime subscription. Doing this allowed you to claim one Twitch Prime capsule per month.

Inside this capsule, you would get one random Permanent skin, 350 RP, a 30-day XP boost, random Champion Shards, and loads more. However, this method is no longer viable as Twitch discontinued its partnership with LoL as of March 2024.
